Prohibited activities and uses

You may not use the Services to publish content or engage in activity that is illegal under applicable law, that is harmful to others, or that would subject us to liability, including, without limitation, in connection with any of the following, each of which is prohibited under this Policy:

  • Distributing malware or other malicious code.
  • Disclosing sensitive personal information about others.
  • Collecting, or attempting to collect, personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent.
  • Distributing pornography or adult related content.
  • Promoting or facilitating prostitution or any escort services.
  • Hosting, distributing or linking to child pornography or content that is harmful to minors.
  • Engaging in the unlawful distribution of controlled substances, drug contraband or prescription medications.
  • Managing payment aggregators or facilitators such as processing payments on behalf of other businesses or charities.
  • Facilitating pyramid schemes or other models intended to seek payments from public actors.
  • Threatening harm to persons or property or otherwise harassing behavior.
  • Purchasing any of the offered Services on someone else’s behalf.
  • Misrepresenting or fraudulently representing products or services.
  • Infringing the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of others.
  • Facilitating, aiding, or encouraging any of the above activities through our Services.

Cancellation and Refunds

Our cancellation terms are established out of respect for our team’s time and our clients’ needs.

Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are difficult to fill. By giving last minute notice, or no notice at all, you prevent someone else from being able to schedule a particular service.

Any cancellation of the contract must be made in writing by email addressed to our Customer Service Centre, in addition to notification by phone.

Refunds will be paid within 30 days.

If the Client or Driver makes a complaint that includes a refund on a booking will start an investigation and search for information on both sides. This will give 7-10 business days to both parties to reply with an explanation.

Should Ambitious Taxi and Tours receive your cancellation request more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time of the transfer you wish to cancel, the total amount paid for this transfer will be refunded, minus the agreed booking fee. Your payment will not be refunded for cancellations received less than 24 hours from the scheduled time of the transfer you wish to cancel.

In the event that monies was sent and fraudulent behavior is suspected monies will be returned to sender minus deposit, Amount determined by company per amount received. Authorities will be involved.

We will not honor any last minute changes if not originally stated.

We will not honor any request that includes prohibited activities.

We will not transfer any monies to any other parties.

Any monies over 5000 UDS will be studied and examined. Please see below.

Barbados’ financial institutions are expected to adhere to a stringent client verification policy and report and record all transactions over $5,000 USD. Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs)must be filed with the AMLA if a transaction is exceptionally substantial or suspicious. Furthermore, Barbados has published Know Your Customer (KYC) standards to verify each customer’s identification and guarantee that they are followed as part of the country’s expanding AML system.

Changes and amendments

We reserve the right to modify this Policy or its terms relating to the Website or Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Policy on the Website. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Website after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
